Round 4 tipped heavily toward the road side — five of nine away teams got the job done, and North Melbourne did it in the biggest way possible, running up 99 points at St Kilda. At the other end, Gold Coast needed every bit of a tight one to get past Port Adelaide at Alberton Oval.
